This collection is made of horn or bone. Each frame has a wood base, and then is covered with a mosaic of polished and stain natural material. For your information these are made from buffalo bone or horn. Buffalos in India are the poor man's 'tractor'. Only when the animal dies are the discarded leather/bone/horn used as a natural resource with which to make an assortment of wonderful products.
